Check Your Status and Forms

How to Check Your Status

CHECK YOUR UH EMAIL:
You can check your status via your UH Email and MyUH Services. You will receive email notifications from our office if you are not meeting our Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Policy, if you have outstanding requirements, and once your eligibility has been determined. For your eligibility to be determined, your application must be complete. This means that: 1) your FAFSA is complete, 2) you are meeting our SAP Policy, and 3) your outstanding requirements have been received. Once complete, processing for eligibility may take an estimated four to six weeks. Note that our office reviews applications chronologically, based on the earliest completion date.

Sending Official Documents to the Financial Aid Office

Students have the option to submit financial aid documents using the UH FileDrop service. The UH FileDrop offers students the convenience of safely and securely uploading documents to our office for review and processing. When using the UH FileDrop, use these settings:

  • Recipient must be lccfao@hawaii.edu
  • Expiration Timer change to 14 days
  • Documents should be clear, legible and complete.
  • Please use blue or black ink.
  • Documents must show both Student Name and UH ID number. Verify each document is signed, if needed.

Check your Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status:

    1. Click on View My Financial Aid Information.
    2. Click on Academic Progress under My Eligibility.

 Not meeting our policy? Review our SAP Policy for your options.

 Check your requirements:

    1. Click on View My Financial Aid Information.
    2. Click on Student Requirements under My Eligibility.
    3. Select the Aid Year you are checking on and click Submit.

For Eligibility

    1. Click on View My Financial Aid Information.
    2. Click on Award By Aid Year under My Award Information.
    3. Select the Aid Year you are checking on and click Submit.

 Do you qualify for aid? Review all information under Financial Aid Policies.

 For Important Messages

    1. Click on View My Financial Aid Information.
    2. Click on Award By Aid Year under My Award Information.
    3. Select the Aid Year you are checking on and click Submit.
    4. Click on Active Messages.

Please use your UH email account when communicating with us via email. Please also include your student ID # in your message. If you do not have a UH email account, “Get a UH Username!” to create an account. Our response time for emailed questions may take an estimated 3–5 business days during peak times.
