This course provides coverage of computer basics, networking and working online, file management best practices, and file storage and backup solutions. Students will gain practical information and skills, such as how a computer works, how to create and manage files and folders, search for information online, and much more.

Upon successful completion of this course participants will be able to:
1. Demonstrate practical knowledge and use of the Windows XP operating system.
2. Demonstrate best practices in file management procedures.
3. Demonstrate basic knowledge navigating the Word Ribbon Interface.
4. Demonstrate the mechanics of creating a Word document.
