Probation After Suspension | Student is on Academic Suspension, sat out for 1 term, and returned to Leeward | Yes (must reapply to Leeward and meet with a counselor) | Yes | Not Applicable |
Dismissal 1 | Student is on Probation after Suspension and does not earn a term GPA of 2.0 or higher | No | Yes | 2 terms (fall and spring) |

Appealing your Academic Status:
- An appeal can only be submitted for the term you have been placed on that status.
- The financial aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) appeal is a different process. Contact financial aid regarding a SAP Appeal.
Please complete the appeal form. The deadline noted on the top of the form is a strict deadline.

Effective Fall 2022, students receiving VA benefits could lose their eligibility if they remain on academic probation for more than 2 consecutive semesters.
