The Children's Center at Leeward

The Leeward CC Children’s Center provides quality early childhood care and education services for preschool children (3, 4, and 5 year-olds) during the fall and spring semesters. Priority for enrollment is given to Leeward CC students, faculty, and staff. Full week and part week schedules are offered. Tuition includes breakfast, and a morning and afternoon snack. A half-day summer program is offered if there is sufficient demand.

The Hub

The Hub logo

The Hub, the student HelpDesk, provides free computer technical support to Leeward students. Coordinated by Leeward's Information and Computer Science program, The Hub is the first help desk staffed by students interns who are receiving college credits for a class.

Computer Science students solve problems, provide advice  and troubleshoot hardware, software, cloud and wifi concerns.

The Hub is located in DA 205A and is open from 8am-4pm, Mondays-Fridays.

Tools for Math Placement Test Review

Although the Math Lab does not provide active tutoring services for the placement testing, we do offer reference textbooks that students may borrow to self-study in refreshing their math skills.

The UH system and Leeward Community College offers several opportunities for students who want to prepare for the MATH portion of the placement test.  Each of these can be accessed from home:
