The Library offers expanded facility hours beginning December 3. On December 3-6 and 10-13, the Library will be open until 730 pm each of those days.  Opening times will remain at 730 am, Monday through Friday. If you can't visit in person, some tips from librarian Wayde Oshiro:

Leeward CC Library databases are accessible from outside of the Pearl City and Waianae campuses.  When using these resources from off-campus the library's proxy server will prompt you to authenticate as a current Leeward student.  Just enter your UH login and password.  After authentication you will be granted full access to our databases until you log off your session.  If you are prompted to log in again using a non-UH login page (no UH logo present) please contact the library at 455-0379 or e-mail lccref [at] hawaii [dot] edu for assistance.  

This is almost always a seamless process.  However, some problems accessing full text content from the CQ Researcher and ProQuest Hawaii Newspapers databases have been reported to the Library recently, and we are seeking decisive solutions.  Please know your incident reports help to ensure that any problems are corrected soon after they occur, frustrating as it may be to complete them in that moment.  Share with us any difficulties (or successes, we like hearing about those, too) at your earliest convenience, and we'll work together to get it right.
