Winter Studio Art Exhibition

The Winter Studio Art Exhibition showcases students from the Beginning and Intermediate Painting classes taught by Alan Leitner. The opening reception will be on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Foyer Art Gallery. Food, refreshments, and music will be provided at the opening reception.

Professor Alan Leitner explains, "The exhibit is an opportunity to share with our students, faculty and staff, the products and creative efforts of our beginning and intermediate painting program." Turner Harrison, a painting student who took Art 123 in the Spring semester and now is enrolled in Art 223 (Intermediate Painting) added, "I learned that abstract or collage paintings can be really fun. Figuring out what goes where and how they connect or come together is like a guessing game."

The exhibition runs from November 16-December 7, 2012. The Foyer Art Gallery is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
