At last week's national North American Council of Staff, Program and Organizational Development (NCSPOD) Conference in Charlotte, N.C., Leeward Community College was recognized with the 2011 Institutional Merit Award
The Institutional Merit Award recognizes excellence in the delivery and impact of staff, program and organizational development programs and in the promotion of these outstanding programs. Evaluation criteria included program objectives, creativity/innovation, impact and evaluation of outcomes. Cindy Martin, Staff Development Coordinator, accepted the award for our college at the annual Awards Luncheon on Friday, October 28, 2011 where a visual presentation introduced and featured the award winners.
Congratulations and mahalo to all of our faculty, lecturers, and staff for the great work and support of our Professional Development Program that earned this recognition for Leeward Community College and to Cindy Martin for her unwavering dedication and leadership.
