Details on Campus Clean-Up

A campus beautification event, “Campus Clean-Up:  Railings and Rubbish”, is scheduled for Wednesday, April 13 from 10:00 to 2:00 at the Library Concourse.  This event is sponsored by the Leeward’s Sustainability Committee, the Office of Student Life, Student Government, Operations and Maintenance, and Hot Dog Hawaii.

  • Operations and Maintenance is supplying all clean-up materials and will be providing a short health and safety briefing for all volunteers at 10am (Library Concourse).
  • Office of Student Life will be have Risk and Release waiver forms available for all volunteers to sign.
  • The May rent for Hot Dog Hawaii has been waived in lieu of providing all volunteers with a free lunch (hot dog, chips, and beverage).  Office of Student Life is coordinating the redemption coupon.

The goal of the project will be wiping and cleaning all campus railings and performing a campus-wide clean-up of rubbish and litter.  Thanks everyone for your assistance in this effort.
