Hour of Code

Leeward's Computer Science program is celebrating National Computer Science Week by joining many other institutions across the US and hosting an "hour of code" event.

This event will take place on Thursday Dec 12 in GT105. Please encourage your students to participate by attending one of the following sessions. Each session is one hour long.

It's Snowing at Leeward

All Leeward students are encouraged to stop by the Student Government table, located outside of the Learning Commons building, to create a one-of-a-kind snowflake. All snowflakes will be used to decorate Leeward CC's Childrens' Center for the holidays. Each student will receive ONE prize for participating.

Veterans Resource Center Opens

In the midst of bustling activities during the Grand Opening of Leeward’s new Veterans Resource Center on Friday, November 8, LeeAnne Santos Egan was quietly and efficiently helping a veteran solve a problem. With a smile on her face and solutions in hand, LeeAnne embodied the critical need for the Center for the growing number of students transitioning from military life.

Phi Theta Kappa Inducts New Members - 2013
