Effective for the Fall 2012 – Spring 2013 academic year, Leeward Community College is an approved participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program (YRP).  This program is a provision of the Post 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008 that allows our College to voluntarily enter into an agreement with the VA to fund tuition expenses that exceed the resident tuition and fees of our public institution. 

Leeward CC can contribute up to 50% of those expenses and VA will match the same amount as our college.  To learn more about the Yellow Ribbon Program, go to the Yellow Ribbon Program section of the GI Bill website.
