Women's History Month Documentary Viewing – March 31, 2015, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Room GT-105
Service: When Women Come Marching Home is a documentary that portrays the courage of several women veterans as they transition from active duty to their civilian lives. A special guest speaker will share her personal experience as a veteran. A light lunch and refreshments will be served. Sponsored by the Library and the Veterans Resource Center. Details.
Community Libraries Day – April 12, 2015, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Leeward CC Library will be one of twenty libraries, archives, educational institutions, and professional organizations showcasing their innovative programs, digital initiatives, and outreach activities on McCarthy Mall at UH-Mānoa (near Hamilton Library). Details.
National Library Week – April 13-17, 2015
We're observing National Library Week by forgiving fines in exchange for food donations ($1 per can donated). We're also letting our patrons vote on which books to add to our Best Sellers Collection. Details.
Earth Week – April 21-23, 2015
We're observing Earth Week with mid-day movie viewings and a "Seed Share" social. Details.
Finals Countdown – April 29-30, 2015, 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
