Distance Education courses are delivered over cable television, two-way interactive video, or the Internet. The library offers services and resources to students who cannot conveniently come to the library in-person.
- DE Student ID Cards
- Students enrolled in DE courses who are unable to visit either the Pearl City or Waiʻanae campus to have a regular student ID card made can request a special non-photo student ID. Please see the special instructions for DE students in the middle of the Student ID information page.
- Reference Services
- Assistance from a reference librarian is available by telephone at 808-455-0379, e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org, text message to 779-220-0379, or online chat.
- Online Research Tools
- The library's research databases, online reference works, and other electronic resources are accessible even when you're not on campus. You will need to log in with your UH username and password. If you have difficulty accessing our databases, please see our troubleshooting page.
