UH students, staff, and faculty can use the libraries and borrow materials at any University of Hawaiʻi campus. For more information about the UH system libraries, see the libraries page on the main UH website.

You can use the Hawaiʻi Voyager online library catalog system to search for books and other materials in the collections of the UH libraries. You can also submit online requests to have library materials brought in for you from other UH libraries.

Library research databases are subscribed to by individual campus libraries, and remote off-campus access to these databases is restricted to students, staff, and faculty of that campus. To access these databases, you need to use the links on the website of the subscribing library. This means that Leeward CC students must use the links on our research web page, and cannot access the databases of another campus, unless you are also taking a class from that campus and using their library's website. Students in the Kapiʻolani CC nursing program, but taking classes on the Leeward campus, are classified as Kapiʻolani students and need to use the links on Kapiʻolani CC Library's website.

The public libraries may have materials not carried by college libraries, or may have copies of books already checked out at the Leeward CC Library. Visit the HSPLS website for information about the public libraries, its programs, branch locations and hours, etc.

You can use the HSPLS online catalog to search for library materials.

You can access EBSCOhost through HSPLS. You may want to do this, because in addition to the same EBSCOhost databases subscribed to by the UH libraries, the HSPLS also subscribes to the Auto Repair Reference Center, which gives you model-specific auto repair information. You'll need to use your HSPLS library card to log in. Note that you need to use this link to access HSPLS EBSCOhost if you are on the Leeward CC campus. Here's why.
