Did you know you can apply for and be enrolled at UH Manoa while completing your Associate degree at Leeward?
Ka‘ie‘ie is a degree pathway program with the University of Hawai'i at Manoa (UHM). It is a dual-admission, dual-enrollment program for students who are pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree, but choose to begin their degree at Honolulu CC, Kapi'olani CC, Leeward CC, University of Hawai'i - Maui College, and/or Windward CC.
With Ka‘ie‘ie, you can choose to take classes at one or both institutions and transfer to UH Manoa when the time is right for you, without having to re-apply when you decide to make the transition.
The benefits of Ka‘ie‘ie are:
- Opportunity to transfer smoothly and graduate with a Bachelor’s degree from UHM
- Advising and academic planning to help students connect earlier with their major department at UHM
- Opportunity to take courses at one or both institutions while identifying the best time to transfer
- When ready to transfer, no further application to UH Manoa is necessary
