International Programs - Advising
The International Student Advisor (ISA) at Leeward has expertise specifically to meet international students’ needs and is available to assist students with making academic decisions and educational plans.
The ISA will help you with registration, university transfer, degree and graduation requirements, course selection, major and career planning and Leeward services. Additionally, the ISA can advise you about the range of issues involved with maintaining your F-1 visa.
In addition to assisting you with your academic planning and questions, the ISA is here to help with issues of cross-cultural adjustment, information about Hawaii or the United States in general, and anything else you need to be successful living and studying in the U.S.
If at any time you have any questions or concerns you can:
1. Email questions to lccintl [at] hawaii [dot] edu
2. Make an appointment
3. Drop by during walk in hours
Appointment and Walk-in hours are posted in the office. Students are encouraged to seek advising assistance during the middle weeks of the semester so that you can plan ahead and be prepared to make wise and appropriate class choices during the registration period for the next semester.
