Admission Procedures
New Student
I have never been to college and/or I have never been to Leeward Community College (LCC) before.- Apply - download and complete the Leeward Community College Application.
International applicants must also submit the
Supplementary Information Form for Undergraduate International Applicants - Take the free COMPASS Placement Test for English and Math.

- If you have already taken college English or math courses, please schedule an appointment with a counselor at (808) 455-0233 or (808) 455-0234 or email leeward [at] hawaii [dot] edu.
- Following your COMPASS placement test, you will receive a score report that shows which English and math courses you may take.
- Attend a free orientation session.
- Check out and apply for financial aid
- Visit a counselor for academic advising.
- Please call 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment.
- If you are 10 minutes late or more, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
- Quick Advisement is for brief questions.
- Quick Advisement is not advisable for new students or transfer students.

Quick Advisement is available without an appointment between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM Monday through Friday. Hours are subject to change or cancelled without notice. Students are assisted on a first come, first served basis.- For an Appointment: contact Counseling & Advising Office at (808) 455-0233 or (808) 455-0234 to schedule an appointment. The academic counseling area is located inside of AD-208.
Appointments may not be available immediately.
- Select your classes for the semester from the LCC Schedule of Courses and decide how many credits to take.
- Register for your classes on the MyUH portal. Make sure you know how and when to register.
- Pay for your classes and fees.
- Buy your textbooks from the LCC Bookstore, print out the campus map, and attend your classes.
Transfer Student
I have completed college credit at another institution and have never attended LCC before.- Apply - download and complete the Leeward Community College Application.
- Send your official transcripts from each college or university you attended to LCC and fill out a Transcript Evaluation Request form.
- Attend a free orientation session.
- Check out and apply for financial aid
- Visit a counselor for academic advising.
- Please call 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment.
- If you are 10 minutes late or more, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.

Continuing Student
I am a LCC student.- Check out and apply for financial aid
- Use the STAR Degree Check in MyUH portal to see your academic progress. The link to the STAR Degree Check system is in the left side menu. This is an unofficial record of your progress in the University of Hawaii system.
- Visit a counselor for academic advising. If you are close to graduation, you must visit a counselor and apply for graduation.
- Please call 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment.
- If you are 10 minutes late or more, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.

- Clear holds and obligations at the cashier's office, financial aid, or admissions & records.
- Select your classes for the semester from the LCC Schedule of Courses and decide how many credits to take.
- Register for your classes on the MyUH portal. Make sure you know how and when to register.
- Pay for your classes and fees. If you are graduating, make sure you pay your $15 graduation fee at the cashier's office before you participate in the graduation ceremony.
- Attend a free orientation session if required.
- Buy your textbooks from the LCC Bookstore, print out the campus map, and attend your classes.
