The Island Flex Flexible Spending Accounts Program Open Enrollment
The Island Flex Flexible Spending Accounts Program Open Enrollment for 2016 is March 7 through April 29, 2016 for plan year July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. The program allows employees (members of Employees' Retirement System) to pay for eligible out-of-pocket dependent care expenses (pre-school tuition, A+, adult day care and/or babysitter expenses) as well as medical, dental, drug and vision expenses with before-tax dollars.
If you are a current member of Island Flex, your enrollment will end on June 30, 2016. You must re-enroll if you wish to continue. Enrollment packets are available at Leeward CC Human Resources Office or online. You may use up to 1 1/2 hours of work time (travel time included) to attend one informational session.
An informational workshop will be held on our campus on Monday, March 21, in ED 201 A/B
at 8:30 am and 10:00 am.
If you are unable to attend an informational workshop, Webinar Sessions will be provided by the State during the Open Enrollment period.

EMPLOYER-UNION HEALTH BENEFITS
TRUST FUND (EUTF)
APRIL 1, 2016 – APRIL 29, 2016
The Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund (EUTF) Open Enrollment will be held April 1, 2016 through April 29, 2016 with coverage effective July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017.
If any changes need to made, you must submit an EC-1 form to the Leeward Community College Human Resources Office by Friday, April 29, 2016. Late
EC-1 forms will not be accepted. Forms are available online www.eutf.hawaii.gov or in the Human Resources Office.
There are a few changes in 2016:
Co-payment to Prescription Drug Coverage for HMSA and Kaiser members.
Co-payment for HMSA 80/20 and HMSA 75/25 plans:
HMSA 80/20: Change from $14 to 20% for Primary Care/Specialist Office Visit
HMSA 75/25: Change from $20 to 25% for Primary Care/Specialist Office Visit
EUTF will be hosting Informational Sessions at Leeward Community College in the Education Building, 2nd Floor (ED 201 A/B) on:
Friday, April 15, 2016 at 9:30am – 11:00am, 11:30am – 1:00pm,
3:00pm – 4:30pm
Insurance carriers will be available to answer questions about the plans.
