CE 270 Applied Mechanics I (Statics) (3)
The study of forces, resultants, and equilibrium; analysis of trusses, frames, and machines; centroids, moments of inertia; friction.
Prerequisite: PHYS 170 with a grade of C or better and
MATH 231 credit with a grade of C or better or concurrent registration.
CE 271 Applied Mechanics II (Dynamics) (3)
The study of dynamics of particles and rigid bodies; force, acceleration, impulse-momentum, work-energy.
Prerequisite: CE 270 with a grade of C or better and MATH 232 with a grade of C or better or concurrent registration.
