Free Tax Help

Income tax forms with a pen and calculator

Leeward’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program has provided free, live tax preparation services for the past 30 years ranging from low-tech carbon paper copies to our now cloud-based computing.

Free tax help is available for low to moderate-income (generally less than $62,000) taxpayers who need assistance with preparing their 2017 federal and Hawaii tax returns. Volunteers will be available to assist taxpayers every Saturday from February 3 to March 31, 9am to 12noon

Where's DH-E?

Map showing location of DH-E, on the makai side of the OCEWD complex

Once again, several classes are being offered in classrooms located behind the OCEWD complex. This is the second time we've used the building for classes and many students are looking at their schedule with a quizzical look. Where is DH-E? To help locate the classrooms, we wanted to share this close-up of DH-E's location and how to get there! With the Theatre renovations continuing, the portable at the back end of campus on the diamond head side is a bit hard to find. If you have a class in DH-E, you might want to park in the side lot, or the newest parking lot behind the OCEWD Complex.
