It all started at Leeward! In May, among the thousands of students earning bachelor degrees at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, Marlene Sedeno will claim a particular distinction among the Class of 2020.
Della Teraoka has been outstanding in her service to Leeward Community College and the UH Community Colleges for nearly two decades. Starting as an instructor at Leeward CC, she currently serves as interim director of academic programming in the Office of the Vice President for Community Colleges.
Finals Countdown returns to the Library, with a few modifications! From April 27- May 15, the Library staff offers a variety of assistance with your final exams. You can chat with a Librarian, get "drop-in" help via Zoom (Monday - Friday, 11am - Noon), reserve and pick up a laptop and discover some great de-stressing activities.

The majority of our classes have shifted to online delivery. Office hours and operations have been modified for health and safety of our students, staff and faculty. The last scheduled day for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program has been cancelled due to the coronavirus. Social distancing is not possible to maintain in the format we use. The deadline for filing individual federal income tax returns has been extended to July 15. The IRS offers some free assistance online, Free File, where you can prepare and file your federal individual income tax return for free using tax-preparation-and-filing software.
