Argonautika at Leeward Theatre

Argonautika, by Mary Zimmerman, is the dramatic retelling of the classic voyage of Jason and the Argonauts. The greatest heroes of the age, including Hercules, twins Castor and Pollux and the sweet voiced Orpheus, join the quest of the Golden Fleece.

Speaking of greatest heroes of an age, Leeward will soon be losing one of its own. Drama director Paul Cravath will be retiring after 36 years of teaching and directing so this final Mainstage production marks the end of an era. There will be a reception preceding the opening night performance acknowledging this occasion. Call Arts and Humanities at 455-0350 or the theatre at 455-0385 for more information.

You can buy tickets right now online at or by calling the UH Ticket Office at 944-BOWS (2697).

The Leeward box office opens for phone and walk up orders starting November 1, 10-2 pm Monday-Friday. We will be closed November 2 and 11 for Election and Veterans' Day and after 12 pm on November 9 for a meeting.
