On Thursday, November 30, 2011, the UH Board of Regents unanimously approved the establishment of a new provisional degree program: the Associate in Science in Natural Science Degree (ASNS) with a concentration in three areas: Life Science, Physical Science or Engineering. See list of transfer options for the AS-NS degree.

Leeward CC has one of the largest Math & Sciences divisions in the UH Community College system, offering more than 200 sections each semester in a variety of disciplines.

Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to working with students on an individualized basis. Many courses offer one-on-one assistance throughout the day in an “open lab” approach. Students have a wide range of opportunities…from extracting DNA in our state-of-the art biotech lab to working on space grant research.
